Daily life in Ancient Greece was different for men and women. Men were to live active lives working to support their families while women stayed homes to take care of the domestic chores such as tacking care of the children or cleaning their home. In Sparta daily life was a whole other story though. Women in Sparta were allowed to live a more free and active life to build up their physical strength. Daily life in Ancient Rome there daily life was actually very similar to ours. First, they would start off with a light breakfast then off to work for the day! The work usually consisted of farming, working as a merchant, or even a solider! Then the romans would take a trip to almost like a swimming pole or hot tub to think and talk about their day. Then finally they would finish their day with an early breakfast at 3pm!
Compare and contrast: Both of the Romans and Greeks day consists mostly of working and eating their daily meals. The women in Greece though didn’t work or get as much freedom as one living in Rome.
