Jupiter - Father or ruler of all the Ancient Rome gods.
If he needed to bring order he would throw his thunderbolt making a horrific
sound as it crashed into a near by wall or mountain.
Juno- She was the mother of all the gods and the sister/wife of Jupiter. She watched of all the women of Rome. Neptune-He was the brother of Jupiter. He was a main god in to the Romans. He was god of the sea. He was very moody causing great waves to crash on the shores of Rome and cities around. Pluto- He was also a brother of Jupiter and he was the god of the underworld. Mars- He was Jupiter’s son and he was the god of war. He was tall, handsome, cruel, and vain causing nobody to like him. Not even his brothers and sisters! Apollo- He was the god of sun, light and music. He was Jupiter’s Son. Mercury- He was the messenger god and the son of Jupiter. Diana- She was Apollo’s twin sister and was the goddess of hunt. Minerva- Goddess of wisdom and her uncle was the powerful Neptune. Vesta-Goddess of hearth and home. She was Juno’s sister. Bacchus- God of wine, law, and civilization Ceres-goddess of harvest and Juno’s other sister. Venus-goddess of love and beauty. Vulcan- son of Jupiter and Juno, and husband of Venus. . Hera-She was the wife of Zeus and mother of all the other gods. She was the god of marriage. Athena- She is the god of war and wisdom. She invented the chariot and built the first ship according to the Greeks. Apollo-He was the god of sun, truth, music, dance, poetry, and healing! That’s one big job for a god! Demeter-She was the god of architecture and lived partially in the underworld with Hades. Hades-He was a brother of the main gods, Zeus, Poseidon, and, Zeus. He is the god of the underworld living with Demeter. Poseidon-He was the god of the sea and water. Poseidon was greatly known for his bad temper and causing earthquakes when in a bad mood. Aphrodite-She was the Goddess of love and beauty. Hermes-He was the god of sports and travel. He often sent messages to the gods and guided dead souls to the underworld. Artemis-She was the goddess of hunting, archery, and wild animals. She was often seen as living on the country side. Ares-He was the god of war but was not very appreciated by his brothers and sisters. Zeus even claimed Ares as the most hated of them all! Hephaistos- He was the god of fire, volcanoes, black smiths, and craft workers. He was thrown out of Mt. Olympus because he was lame. Dionysus- He was the god of good spirits and happiness. He was mostly portrayed in theaters. |
